04When Will I See the Results?
The result of the surgery is visible immediately. It takes approximately 1–3 months for the swelling of the first weeks to subside and for the breasts to soften and settle into their natural shape. After this period, the breasts look and feel completely natural.
The brand and quality of the breast implant matter just as much as the surgeon's experience and deserve careful attention. Using low-quality implants to reduce costs is not recommended.
Before deciding on this procedure, the patient's expectations must be fully understood, and a long consultation should be held together with the patient to determine the right size for her body. As with every operation, the thing we pay most attention to in our breast implant procedures is never promising our patients more than we can deliver.
Unfortunately, implants alone may not be enough for some patients: in patients with sagging beyond a certain degree, using implants alone can lead to great disappointment. In such cases, a breast lift should be performed together with the implants, because what matters is not what the patient thinks should be done, but that she ends up with the breasts she wants after the procedure.
The operation takes about 1 hour and the patient stays in the hospital for 1 night; a special bra must be worn after surgery. When breast implants are used for the right patient, this is one of the aesthetic surgery procedures that can deliver very good results.
